Thank God we have Rickshaws

Dear Khurram ''Sharif'' bhai, what am I reading.. are you planning to drive rickshaw on the streets of New York!? Well please let me know when, I've seen and heard rickshaws are very flexible and you can put as many familymembers in one rickshaw as one would like.. these extreme machines even outperform SUV's, I've seen it with my very own eyes in Quetta climbing mountains, crossing flooded streets and even huge craters in roads are not a problem. Taxi's are just for lazy ppl, right...?

The "Family"

Hain? main yahan.. phir? Chalo agar aa hi gya hoon to koi naik kaam karr deta hoon. Waise tum logoun ka koi haal nahi. As my dad would say "duay Rabb di" . Well i thought id try to post a picture on our very own website, a milestone and a half for me. Alas, i succeded and have managed to post a recent and favourite picture from Danish and Rubaat's visit to NY.
A little about the picture: I think we are standing in the courtyard of the Trinity Church in downtown Manhattan, these are actual roots of a 100+ year old tree that was unearthed when the twin towers fell. I really didnt believe it myself until i read the plaque .
Anyway, from left to right, it is Rubaat, Sabeen, danish, Sheza (punk), Chandi and ofcourse the best for last...Yours truly Khurram.. thats "Sir" to the rest of you.
Well another day, another good deed. I think i shall retire to my humble abode. I just had one last thought. Wouldnt it be funny if, and its a big IF, one day you are in Manhattan and you wave for a taxi and out of nowhere a rickshaw comes zooming in and stopsss.. screeech.. and the driver sticks his head out wearing shalwar kamiz and says "baoo ji, ethay aajao, kithay janaee?, O jo munasib hoye ga dai dena"

Howdy Yawwl, ma name is yankee and i aint here for any hanky panky. Just kidding boys n gurls and any mamoo that might stumble here, accidently. Its nice to see that our khandan has finally made it to the world wide web (Thats what the "www" stands for you paindoos). It only took us a decade. Khair, all praise goes to our tall cousion from Amsterdam, Mr Danish ummm... Mr Danish... umm, aye hai, kia museebat hai.. aakhree naam kia hai iss ka, its been 14 years since i last saw him.. ooo haan, Mr Danish Iqbal.
Moral of the story my young and not so innocent cousions is , since we all inhabit the same lovely third rock from the sun and we all speak some thooti phooti aangraizee, we should make an active effort to write and keep in touch with one another. Danish has made this even easier now that we have out own website. So get ure ball point pens and pads out and start typing your fingers away. Yawl stay in touch , ye hear.. and for those that didnt get that.. achi jii mai chalta hoon. Allah Hafiz.
